근데 또 한가지 의문이 생겼다. 그럼 메일주소는 어떻게 만드는 것인가... 읔 약간만 수정을 해주면 되었다. dns 서버와 메일서버가 같은 컴터라면 별 문제가 없지만... 지금 내가 dns로 쓰고 있는 이 윈도즈2000컴터는 메일서버가 없다. 그래서 sendmail이 작동되고 있는 옆의 리눅스를 메일 서버로 쓰기로 했다.
이렇게 하면 kiki@yxxxx.com으로 오는 메일은 자동으로 kiki@mail.yxxxx.com으로 메일을 넘어가게 되어 있다. dns와는 다른 얘기지만 이번에 이걸 하면서 sendmail의 설정부분을 약간 바꾸어 보았는데 적는김에 같이 적어 두어야 나중에 까먹지 않을거 같아서 같이 적어본다.
처음에 sendmail이 작동하고 있는 리눅스에다가 아무리 메일을 보내도 메일이 가지 않았다. 각고의 노력끝에 설정파일을 고쳐주었더니 메일이 잘 날라가는 것이었다. 문제의 그 설정파일은 바로 '/etc/sendmail.cf' 이다. 그 파일을 열고 대충 다음 부분을 찾는다.
그러고 나서 sendmail을 restart 해 주어야 하는데 그 명령은
